In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Los Angeles; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in California are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The food was okay. My noodles didnโt have too much flavor, but I liked the broccoli beef.

Small bistro packed with amazing flavors. We had the eggplant and beef with green beans along with fried dumplings. Everything tasted great. If you make it for lunch special hours the food is a steal.

The food was good. You can get plates to share with your family.. My favorite there is the hot tea. All the dishes were really good.. Definitely would recommend it. Plates are about 20 dollars each more or less.. I wouldn't really get the beef broccoli because the meat wasn't that great.

This place is a beloved neighborhood staple. The lemon chicken is one of my favorite dishes. The breading is so thin and crispy, and the dipping sauce tastes like real lemons. I also love the braised string beans and pan fried yee mein noodles. The owner and staff are so nice and attentive, and they also support several Chinatown mutual aid orgs. I love them.

The ladies are really nice, got the pork and century egg congee and it had lots of pork in it compared to other spots Iโve been to around Chinatown! Also got their Singapore noodle stir fry which came with lots of various seafood!! I wish I also tried their fried shrimp but will definitely go back for that next time.
